University of Gothenburg climate strategy

We affect the climate – what are you doing? This is the name of the University of Gothenburgs climate strategy. The overall objective is to reduce emissions of climate changing gases by 2015 by at least 20 percent compared to 2008. The goal is realized mainly through energy efficiency measures and by climate and eco-friendly travelling or travel-free meetings. In order to balance emissions, carbon offsetting of air travel is applied.

Additional areas of action are research and education, collaboration and communication, procurement and transportation coordination, computer use and food.
