Waste management - Resource consumption
The University will reduce the total amount of waste by 10 percent by 2015 compared to 2009. The University will also increase the proportion of waste recycled or composted by 10 percent by 2015 compared to 2009.
The university generate large amounts of waste. It is therefore important to have a well-functioning waste management system. All faculties at the University of Gothenburg have introduced waste separation.
