Climate seminar: Cop 17 in Durban - What can we expect this time?

The seminar will take place during Global week and deal with conditions for the 17th UN conference on climate change. Three eminent international researchers in climate change and participants of the UN International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will present their research and work in the IPCC, and discuss expectations on the international climate negotiations which will take place in Durban on november 28 – december 9 2011.

Participants: University of Gothenburg and IPCC researchers Thomas Sterner (professor of environmental economics), Deliang Chen (professor of physical meteorology) and Ulf Molau (professor of environmental science).

Moderator: Ida Hellmark, Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation.
